Sessions and fees

 Full day 8am-6pm session £82.00

Our daily fees include a selection of breakfast cereals, wholemeal toast, a selection of fresh fruit and whole milk. A two-course hot lunch, a light evening meal.

Children who attend Little Puddleducks full time (5 Full days per week 8-6) receive a 10% discount on childcare fees!

Two or more siblings who attend our setting, will also receive a 10% discount on the lowest fees charged. 

Additional sessions may be booked on an ad hoc basis when available and can be booked by contacting a member of management via office phone/text/Famly message or email. Ad hoc sessions are charged on an individual basis at £82 per day. 

15/30 hour funding 

At Little Puddleducks, we are an All Year Round setting and so spread the funding throughout the entire year to avoid large nursery bills during school holidays and half terms.

Children who are entitled to funding may be eligible for 15 or 30 hours of funding (these are calculated as Term Time Only). Please see below for information on applying for funding. This equates to 570 or 1140 hours per year. We spread our funding across the year and allocate 11 or 22 hours per week throughout the entire year. Remaining hours are charged at £8.20 per hour.

The charge for food from April 2025 for children in receipt of Government funding is £8 per full funded day and £5 per partial funded day. 

Parents who are unwilling or unable to pay the £8 food charge have the option to opt out of this daily cost. Parents would then be responsible for providing their child(ren) with all food required for their sessions and must be in line with our ‘Food and Drink Policy’ and nursery routine.

Please speak to a member of the management team if the opt out option is required. 

Additional charges may be discussed with parents/carers for individual enhancements to the curriculum such as classes, outings or visitors. A child’s attendance to these additional experiences and therefore the additional charges will be optional. 

Example fee calculation: 

Child A attends 3 days per week (30 hours per week)

22 hours per week are funded 

8 hours are chargeable at £8.20 per hour 

8 chargeable hours x £8.20 = £65.60 per week

2 x fully funded days = 2 x £8 = £16 per week

1 x partially funded day = 1 x £5 = £16 + £5 = £21 per week food charge 

Weekly charge = £65.60 + £21 = £86.60

£86.80 x 52 weeks = £4503.20 divided by 12 months = £375.27 per month

Please note that parents are responsible for all funding and money saving schemes applications and reconfirmations. 

Childcare Vouchers

We accept vouchers from all the major and local suppliers.

Fees

Fees are due by the last working day of each calendar month in advance, payable by: cash, BACs, Tax-Free Childcare transfers, childcare vouchers, or standing order. If invoices are not paid by the 15th of the invoiced month, late payment fees of £5 per day may be added to your invoice. 

If invoices are regularly paid late or let unpaid, your child’s sessions would be terminated. 

Child absence/ Sickness/ Holidays 

Fees are payable at the full rate for all periods of child absence including holidays and sickness. 

We are closed for Bank holidays- Bank holidays are chargeable.

We do not offer term time only contracts.
