About our nursery
At Little Puddleducks we offer a home-from-home setting in which we nurture your child and support their development from the ages of six months until they are ready for school.
Based in the rural hamlet of Siston, Bristol, we have grounds of two acres of beautiful, mature gardens in which your children can explore, investigate, play and develop a wide range of skills.
We are a unique setting, unlike any other.
We value each and every child as an individual, with their own specific set of interests and needs and we do our utmost to ensure that every one of these interests and needs are catered for through a wide range of stimulating and purposeful activities, which stem from observing your child and getting to know them as an individual.
We are proud to announce we have been rated by Ofsted as 'A GOOD NURSERY'

Our Rooms
Babies- Nurturing and treasuring the youngest members of our Puddleducks family. Babies cater for children from six months until they are around eighteen-months old.
Toddlers- From the age of around 18 months, our toddler room encourages your child to blossom as an individual, develop their own interests and encourage their imaginations.
Lower Preschool- Children in our Lower Preschool room are supported to develop a sense of self by exploring play through their own choices and imagination.
Upper Preschool - In our Upper Preschool room, children from the age of three are nurtured as they flourish into independent, confident individuals. The staff in our Upper Preschool room plan a range of activities to develop your child's interests, and support them as they prepare for their transition to school.
What makes us unique?

- We provide home-cooked, nutritious foods prepared by our on-site experienced chef
- All staff hold an updated DBS certificate and are on the update system.
- All Practitioners are enrolled on Paediatric first aid training
- We have separate rooms for each age group, tailored to engage children's imaginations and interests, and encourage development throughout every area of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- We have free-roaming peacocks who often visit the grounds of Little Puddleducks Nursery. Our mature gardens also attract a range of other beautiful local wildlife.
- We are close to the A4174 Ring Road within easy distance of both Bristol and Bath
- We encourage parental partnership through regular parents' evenings and daily 1:1 handover session at the end of each day to ensure that you have a thorough understanding of activities your child has enjoyed.

The sessions we offer are:
Monday - Friday
8am-6pm

We are closed on all bank holidays and have a strong sense that Christmas time is family time, because of this we are closed on Christmas eve and the week between Christmas and new year.
